Touchscreen technology has brought a revolution in mobile’s world. Alot of companies are manufacturing mobiles full of advanced features & multi touch input.

Today i came up with a comparison of Resistive touchscreen with capacitive.

Capacitive Touchscreen is the latest technology. In which you just have to place your finger on the screen, we don’t have to put pressure or we have no need to press. Just placing the finger or pointer on the link will be enough.

This technology is used in Apple Iphone. Everyone knows that touchscreen of apple i phone is extremely good in using.

All of this is because of its capacitive technology. Samsung i8910 Omnia also has Amoled Capacitive display.

The resistive touch screen is now old technology. It is also in efficient because while using a cell phone with resistive touchscreen needs the user to press a little. This some times cause erorrs. When in a hurry you cant press the screen regularly. So it becomes a headache.

This old resistive technology is used in Nokia 5800.

So please comment to tell me about your feedback.

As we all know apple is a bunch of latest technologies. Iphone is a king of mobile phones with an exclusive touch experience. Here are some best and useful image editing apps for iphone.

Best Camera: Not a bad name for an iPhone camera app, especially if it’s created by world-renowned photographer Chase Jarvis. This app does a little bit of everything for the iPhone photographer, including the ability for users to enhance images with a selection of one-touch filters. The filters are based on some of Jarvis’ most well-known work like Jewel, Paris, Slate, and Candy. You can share photos from within the app directly to Twitter, Facebook, email or thebestcamera.com. Best Camera costs $2.99.

Camera Zoom 2: This apps one of the most requested features for the iPhone camera: zoom. Camera Zoom 2 allows you to zoom in and out in real-time while taking a photo. What’s great about this app is that the zoom is a simple slider in the photo window — just tap and slide and you will zoom. Tapping anywhere on the screen will snap the picture. Camera Zoom costs $0.99.

ColorSplash: This is one of those apps that does something I never would have thought possible on an iPhone. With ColorSplash you can turn a photo to black and white, while keeping areas you select color. A very dramatic effect. ColorSplash costs $1.99.

Photogene: Here is a fairly comprehensive set of editing tools for iPhone photos. Photogene allows you to crop, sharpen, correct colors manually or automatically, adjust exposure and contrast, straighten a tilted image, add frame effects, text bubbles and many other things. This is like the Swiss Army Knife of editing tools for the iPhone. Photogene costs $2.99.

Pano: Panoramic photos are possible on the iPhone with Pano. You do not need any other software to make panoramic photos, just an iPhone and Pano. You can take panoramas with up to 16 photos and then stitch them together with features like a semi-transparent guide to line up the photos. Pano also features blending and color-correction algorithms. Pano costs $2.99.

Night Camera: This solves one of my biggest problems with any camera. Shooting in low-light situations is always difficult — having a solution on the iPhone just makes me want to use it more. Night Camera uses the iPhone’s accelerometer to trigger the shutter when the camera is stable. It features three modes: Standard, Stable and Timer. Night Camera costs $0.99.

Photo fx: There are some serious filters available in this app. You can choose from 32 filters in six categories and 327 presets. Filters include Pro Mist, Center Spot, Close-up Lens, Reflector, Star, Pencil and Polarizer. There are also two add-on groups called Portrait fx and Color fx. Photo fx costs $2.99.

DSLR Camera Remote: Your iPhone as a remote — not a bad idea at all. With this app you can plug your camera into your computer and then control your Canon EOS or Nikon DSLR camera from your phone. You can adjust settings, fire the shutter, review images and get a live viewfinder preview, among other things. DSLR Camera Remote requires free server software and a Wi-Fi connection. The iPhone app costs $19.99.

Perfectly Clear: Here is another problem I have with photos — they look washed out. Perfectly Clear applies corrections to your photos automatically, taking that flatness out. The app looks at exposure, contrast, color vibrancy, sharpen and tint removal when making its adjustments.

Light: If you want to spice up your photos with a little light and shadow, this is the app for you. You can add realistic lighting effects to any image using presets in the app. For instance, if you took an image that looks bland, you can add the shadow from a Georgian window to the background. Very slick. Light costs $1.99.

Now the customers can enjoy the ability to serve more podcasts and wiki easily with the new snow leopard server.

Due to its astonishing features Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard deserves attention. It is based on 64 bit engineering. Snow Leopard Server started shipping on Aug. 28 and costs $499 (£399) with unlimited client licenses.

It is licensed to run only on Mac hardware. For my tests, I used a newly minted Xserve running two quad-core Intel Xeon 5540 processors and 6GB of RAM. I also tested the OS on an older Intel Xeon-based Mac Pro.

Snow Leopard Server could be considered for general enterprise deployment, but its built-in creative and communications functions make the operating system best suited for deployment where high-value content is produced.

So you’re extremely happy with your new iPhone 3GS, and are actively searching for means and ways to enhance your iPhone experience regardless of where you are. Newton Peripherals could have the answer, where they will lend their expertise in integrated mobile peripherals to come up with the new MoGo Talk for the iPhone. Just in case you were wondering what a contraption known as MoGo Talk for iPhone is, this is touted to be the first ultra-thin integrated Bluetooth headset in the world, measuring no thicker than 5mm while being stored on the back of your iPhone. In addition, it will also have its batteries charged up in the process, giving users the convenience of a charged headset at all times.

This has led me to think though, won’t charging the MoGo Talk sip even more juice from your iPhone’s battery, which leaves you with less battery than before to carry out conversations? Well, at least we do know the MoGo Talk’s minimalist design will allow one to fold the headset flat easily, snapping it in and out of its protective case in a jiffy.

It isn’t all flash with the MoGo Talk for iPhone as it will feature a potent combination of patent pending SoundShape noise blocking, comfort fit ear tips, high fidelity balanced armature audio drivers and rich SmartAudio processing to provide you with the best audio quality possible whenever you’re holding a conversation. When combined, these elements will do away with previous nuinsances such as noise, echo and wind interference. The MoGo Talk’s patent pending folding boom also makes sure the headset can be folded flat to a mere 5mm low-profile for easy and convenient storage – just don’t forget you’ve placed it in your wallet and sit on it accidentally.

You will get up to 4 hours of active noise compensation talktime with this, where it can standby for up to a week. Expect MoGo Talk for iPhone to retail for $129.99 when available.

The fantastic folks from iFixit have got their hands on a brand new, hot out of the factory 3rd gen iPod touch. So what do they do with it? Tear it apart!

So, what did they discover? Well, two interesting things.

First, the 3rd gen iPod touch is home to a Broadcom BCM4329FKUBG wireless chip. According to the Broadcom spec sheet, this chip supports 802.11n.

There also a Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a FM receiver and transmitter packed into that chip
What’s extra interesting is that not even the iPhone 3GS has support for 802.11n.

There also seems to be room in the iPod touch for an iPod nano style camera.

By now you should know how we’ll get 802.11n support … at some point in the future Apple will release an update, but because it’ll be “adding a new feature” it’ll claim that we have to pay $10 for the update, even though primarily it’ll consist of bug fixes, minor improvements and more integration with the iTunes Store. It sucks, but its the way it is.

Great work iFixit!

Just like the new generation of iPod nano was announced earlier this morning, so do we have news of a new iPod touch as well, pushing the device into the third generation. One thing that would disappoint most people about this would be the lack of a built-in digital camera after being hyped up about it through various rumors and fan sites over the past weeks and months, but guess there is always the anticipation of seeing said integrated digital camera make an appearance sometime in the future with the fourth iteration of the iPod touch. What’s cooking with this generation of iPod touch? We’ll take a closer look at it right after the jump.

According to Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, “At just $199 the iPod touch is the most affordable gateway to Apple’s revolutionary App Store with more than 75,000 applications that you can wirelessly download right into your iPod touch. You get a great iPod, a great pocket computer with the industry’s best mobile web browser and a great game player, all in this super-thin beautiful enclosure.”

Yes, that’s right – prices for the new iPod touch will start from $199 upwards for the 8GB model, where those who feel that they need more space can always fork out slightly more for the 32GB and 64GB models that will retail for $299 and $399, respectively. Too bad for those who just picked up an iPod touch yesterday, getting half the capacity at the same price – good things always come to those who wait, eh? In this case, it pays to be well informed ahead of time, especially with companies like Apple who announce upcoming events ahead of time so that you can stop your purchase before a particular date if it isn’t too much of a rush.

Everyone is talking about Apollo, the platform from Adobe that puts rich web apps on the desktop. But the tech-talk means very little to the average user who simply wants to see some cool stuff. Luckily, there are developers out there working diligently on producing Apollo applications, some of which are already fully usable. To try them out, you first need to download and install the Apollo runtime, which can be downloaded from the official Apollo site.

As far as the actual applications go, most of them are either a heavy beta or a proof-of-concept, but some are already fully usable and quite fun. Without further ado, here are the ones we like, in no particular order:

1. Tweetr

For the Twitter () addicts, the 1000th incarnation of Twitter, this time in Apollo. It works on Mac, WinXP or Vista; and it enables you to receive and send tweets, but it occasionally stops updating, which is not nice. The novelty is mostly in a a cool 3D animation and the ability to change the font size.

www.tweet-r.com

2. The Mini Digg

Just like with Twitter, you can never have too many Digg ()-related gizmos. The Mini Digg is actually very cool, because of its tracker feature, which lets you see the statistics for Digg stories you choose, including the number of diggs and comments over time. The application has its limitations; for example, you can’t track popular items from a subcategory, but give it time, and it might become a great tool for all you Diggers out there.

merhl.com/?p=17

3. DiggTop

While we’re on the subject of Digg, here’s another Apollo based Digg tool – DiggTop. It works on Windows and OS X and it shows you a blended list of your favorite Digg topics or keyword feeds. It also scrapes images from the linked article and displays a cute little slideshow. It’s done really well and has a lot of options; it may even be the best Apollo application we’ve seen so far.

www.gskinner.com/DiggTop/

4. YourMinis

YourMinis, one of the most popular widget platforms, was also one of the first to announce Apollo support. This means that you can now take any widget from YourMinis’ huge widget base and have it sit on your desktop. The possibilities here are endless, and if you’re a widget lover, this one is an absolute must. The installation is simple, once you have Apollo runtime installed, get the YourMinis air file at the link below. After that, simply browse the YourMinis widget gallery and when you find one you like, click “Copy to Desktop”.

blog.yourminis.com/2007/03/desktop_widgets.html

5. Fresh Reader

This one comes straight from Adobe. It’s a skinnable RSS reader built in AJAX and running on Apollo. A full featured RSS reader is not the simplest application to make, but this one fares quite well compared with similar web applications, although lack of options at this point will probably keep most users from becoming regulars.

labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Apollo:Applications:Samples

6. DryerFox

From the completely-ridiculous department comes DryerFox, which is (author’s words) like Firefox (), but inside a dryer. There’s no sense in explaining it; suffice to say that it’s absolutely useless, but we just had to mention it.

olddougnewtricks.blogspot.com/2007/04/dryerfox-its-like-firefox-but-inside.html

7. Admetus

Admetus is a simple tool for finding and downloading Flickr () images in high resolution. It has a simiple interface which lets you download images with one click, and it automatically highlights the photos that you already have. The options are scarce (read: they don’t exist), and you can’t change the folder for saved images (it defaults to Desktop/Admetus/SEARCH_TAG/). However, despite the limitations, the actual application is quite useful.

www.uza.lt/applications/admetus/

8. FineTune Desktop

If you’re a FineTune user, you might want to check this cool tool from the developers of FineTune themselves: FineTune Desktop. It’s a desktop player which lets you access your playlists and favorite artists without having FineTune open in your browser. It’s one of the more polished Apollo applications, so if you’re into FineTune make sure to give it a try.

www.finetune.com/desktop/

9. Scout

Here’s one for the web developers, done by Adobe Labs. Load any website in Scout, and it will let you quickly browse through the source code, the CSS, JavaScript objects, images, or cookies present on the site. It’s basically a showcase of Apollo’s ability to inspect a page as it’s rendered on the client, but it’s also quite useful.

labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Apollo:Applications:Samples

10. FlexTube

If for some reason you’d like to watch YouTube () videos without actually having a web browser opened, you can do it with FlexTube. The application is in an early development stage (you have to login using test/test as username and password) and some of the options (like adding videos to favorites) don’t work, but the rest of it is fully functional.
